The performance Bare Life took place both at the exhibition Bare Life opening on July 18, 2025, and at its closing on August 30, 2025.
In a human-sized glass aquarium, the artist's naked body, covered in snails, became an object for the viewer's gaze, yet at the same time firmly retained its vital reality-affirmed by the artist's breath and the snails' movement. This living exhibit, created in interspecies communion, ambivalently embodied bare life while simultaneously revealing the impossibility of observing it without the overlay of social conventions of perception.
